About a year ago I was hit with the Flu to end all Flu's. A sore throat so sore, that I couldn't even swallow my own spit. It was then I discovered what I like to call a Miracle in Jar. I took a tablespoon before bed one night when I was sick and when I woke up the next morning, I was able to get down oatmeal, and some herbal tea where I as before I could hardly get down a drink of water.
So here is my little secret
1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1-2 tablespoons honey (to taste I always put extra honey in mine)
Take 1 tablespoon by mouth as needed.
It doesn't need to be in the frig, but it does taste better cold.
I wouldn't recommend this for small children, it doesn't taste all the great and the Cayenne pepper might be a little much for small children, but if your children are use to "spicy" things then maybe they can handle it.
Like I said it doesn't taste great but if you can just get 1 tablespoon down at least twice a day you'll feel better in a day or 2.....
